Many companies have announced 3G service in Pakistan, but Ufone is the first one to announce the packages for its prepaid and postpaid customers. These 3 G packages are announced for few cities and the service will be available in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Services will be offered in other cities, when trail period will end.
Company has provided 3G services on all the handset which are compatible with the service. New handsets can access the service by dialing *7700#. If you want to avail the 3G service, you have to make sure that 3G service is activated on your phone and service is provided on your number.
If we talk about the Ufone packages, they are quite economical, and it offers a lot of choices for its customers. 512 Kpbs, 1Mbps and 3Mbps are considered as most useful packages. Ufone is offering 17 different packages for its 3G customers. They are offering default package for all prepaid Ufone customers, which is called “Pay G” Package. When you will use the first MB, you will be charged Rs. 20 and after that 19 Mb will be free of cost. When you will use 20th Mb, you will be charged Rs. 20 and after that till 39th Mb you will not be charged. When you will start using 40th Mb, you will be charged again with Rs. 20 and the cycle will continue.
