Voice mail

This service allows you to get each and every call. If you cannot attend a call, calling person will be able to record a message for you. This service will be available when your phone is out of coverage area or you have switched it off for some reason. Another feature of voice mail is the option to personalize it and you can record a greeting as well.  When you want to set up voice mail service, you have to dial 100. You will get instructions to set up your PIN and you can record your greetings after that. If you want to access your voice mail box, you have to dial 100 from your MTN phone. If you want to access your mail box from another phone, you have to dial 083 100. They will ask for your PIN and you will get instructions to listen to your messages. MTN offers this service for its customers free of cost. When you will dial 100, it will cost you nothing.

Call Back

This is another service for MTN customers, which is available for free. This service allows you to send an SMS to any contact and you can ask him to call you back. This service is useful when you have no air time or you are in hurry. When you want to access this service, you have to dial *121* cell phone number#. After that push the green button, which we use to make a call. You have the facility to customize your call back message. To do this you have to dial *121#.

MTN also offer call diverts, call waiting and call holding services for its customers. No subscription needed for these services as all MTN customers can use these services. When you want to divert calls, you have to follow the given procedure.
