However, the procedure of getting license for providing 3G service is on the way. Nevertheless, Teletalk GPRS and EDGE based internet services are excellent not only in cheaper rates, but in uninterrupted connectivity as well. There are seven various types of internet packages offered by Teletalk to its subscribers. These GPRS serices are named as “Pay per Use”, “250TK Per Month-1GB”, “08TK Per Day-10MB”, “40TK Per 7 Days – 50MB”, “80TK Per 15 Days – 100MB”, “Unlimited GPRS Connection” and “Daily Unlimited Connection”.
How to Activate GPRS Service
1. To activate “Pay per use” or “No Use No Pay” connection, write ‘reg’ and send SMS to 111.
2. To activate monthly limited “250tk per month-1GB” connection, write ‘m01g’ and send SMS to 111.
3. To activate daily limited “08tk per day – 10MB” connection, write ‘d10m’ and send SMS to 111.
4. To activate Weekly (7 days) limited “40tk per 7 days – 50MB” connection, write ‘w50m’ and send SMS to 111.
5. To activate Fortnightly (15 days) limited “80tk per 15 days – 100MB” connection, write ‘f100m’ and send SMS to 111.
6. To activate “unlimited GPRS connection”, write ‘unl’ and send SMS to 111.
7. To activate “Daily unlimited connection”, write ‘dunl’ and send SMS to 111.
All types of GPRS packages will be activated within 24hrs and you will be get message. After getting notification, you can configure your mobile set in accordance to following data.

Ways to Use Teletalk GPRS
There are three ways to use Teletalk GPRS.
1. You can use Teletalk internet from your mobile phone.
2. You can also use Teletalk GPRS services from MIDP.2 [JAVA] supported handsets.
3. You can use internet from your PC or laptop by using mobile as a modem.
