Vodacom Offers International Calling Services For Its Customers

World is no more world, it is called a global village now. We have relatives in many countries and we have to keep in touch with them. Call is the quickest way to keep in touch with you family and friends in other countries. If you are South African residents, you can use Vodacom.  Vodacom offers economical charges, as you can call abroad at as low as 89c for a minute.

You can use international calling or international calling plus service offered by the Vodacom. If you choose international calling plus, you will be billed on per second basis and fee will be R 5 for a month. Contract and top up customers can activate their international calling while for prepaid customers, it’s activated by default.

Vodacom international calling service allows you to call in 118 countries directly from your cell phone. For standard international calling, there is no monthly subscription fee, but call will be charged on per minute basis, which is different for different countries. For international calling plus, subscription fee is R 5 and you will be charged on per second basis.

If you are a prepaid customer and opt for calling plus, the subscription charges will be detected from your balance. While for top up and contract customers, these charges will be added to their monthly bill. Top up customers can dial *#331# to check that either service is activated or not. To activate this service you have to contact service provider of the company.

If you want to activate international calling plus, you have to dial *111#, while prepaid and top up customers can send an SMS, by writing World to 123. Contract customers have to send World to 100. Similarly, if you want to deactivate the service, you have to set world stop to 123 and 100 respectively. Once you will deactivate the service, you will not be charged with monthly subscription fee.

You have to dial the international access code, than country code and after that the number of the person. It will appear a long number, but in fact without any of these codes, you will not be able to make a call. You can get the list of country code on internet.
