MTN is one of the leading cellular companies in Cameroon, as it offers a wide range of services for the local customers. MTN Elite is prepaid package of MTN, which offers low calling rates not only for local but international destinations as well.
MTN Elite offers great calling rates for 15 destinations, which include China, US< Canada, India, UK, France, Spain, Nigeria, Brazil, Malaysia, Portugal, South Korea, swede, Germany and Belgium. If you want to change your package to MTN Elite, you have to dial *170*6#. You have to pay 250F as immigration fee.
If we talk about the advantages, which MTN Elite offers, there are many. For instance, it is a package where billing is on per second basis. No matter you are calling any local number or one of the above mentioned international destinations; you will be charges on per second basis. If customer will consume 7500 F in a month, he will be given 100Mb for free, which he can use during a month. If you are roaming, you can hear calls for free on MTN network. You will get notification, when your balance will be low, so that you can recharge it in time.
The great calling rates include, 90F per minute, for the first minute of the day, and after that you will be charged at 0.75 per second for the rest of the day, if you are calling from MTN to MTN. In case of other network, you will be charged 90F for the first minute and after that 1.5F second for the rest of the day. If we talk about international calls, 200F will be charged on MTN network while for other countries charges will be 300F per minutes. The charges are 90F per minutes for the first minutes and after that 0.75F per second for the rest of the day, for selected destinations.
